Call Me Hardy

Hardy is a Taiwanese-American, multi-disciplinary 3D artist and a UX designer with a love for art, music and games.

As a UW Tacoma Arts, Media, and Culture student, Hardy designed public art for Edmonds College and UW Tacoma, worked on research of LGBTQIA+ rights, and studied product design, graphic design, and visual expression. After graduation, Hardy received professional training in Blender 3D, anatomy drawing, and the Google UX Design Professional Certificate program.

Furthermore, as a student minoring in Applied Computing, Hardy leads research on techniethics in deep learning AI. Hardy’s initiative integrates inclusive design standardization into AI’s components, frameworks and tools. In addition, Hardy learned to integrate database management systems and deep learning AI into web design and UX design to better assist users in completing tasks more efficiently.

In Google Career's UX Design Professional Certificate program, Hardy learned how to integrate accessibility strategies into design systems and deliver multimodal experiences.

Hardy’s experience as a student academic counselor and long-term assistance to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) students gave him a knack for building successful pathways for marginalized groups. Moreover, Hardy focuses on empowering communities and promoting equity in underrepresented communities through the integration of art and technology and outreach programs.
